No carb rebuild is done well if these checks are not made.

‘Bench sync’ basically means that all parts are the same and all settings on each carb matches all other carbs. Some of this, like float height setting, must be done as you assemble your carbs. Do NOT assume you can synchronize settings after you assemble. Make this work part of your assembly process. You can already check off one essential item – by now you’ve already checked and tested all passages as you cleaned the parts. What’s next?

Use only new Buna N or Nitrile type O rings (fuel resistant materials).
Check that any replacement parts are the same critical dimensions as originals.
Check the floats & bowls for leaks.
Check float valve seats are clean, then test them.
Check accelerator pumps & adjust float heights.

Make sure throttle & choke linkages are properly adjusted & move freely throughout their range.
